1. The ball mill shell must bear the weight of the liner, grinding body, partition board, and materials, and will generate huge torque when running. Therefore, it needs to have a large bending strength and rigidity, and the thickness is about 0.01-0.015 times the cylinder diameter.
2. The ball mill shell should be opened with 1-4 doors (related to the length of the mill and the number of compartments), which are used to replace the liner, diaphragm, and the grinding body, and allow personnel to enter the mill for maintenance.
