1. Increase the size of the R angle of the trunnion, and appropriately increase the thickness, strength, and decrease the stess of the R angle without affacting the installation of discharge sieve.

 

2. Strengthen the quality control on the trunnion in manufacturing process, and strictly perform flaw detection during casting and processing.

 

3. Regularly inspection

(1) Afert one year's operation, measure the ball mill elevation, reducer centerline and horizontal line during the annual overhaul time, and conduct adjustment according to the measurement situation. 

Regular inspection and adjustment can effectively improve the life of the hollow shaft and reduce the risk of hollow shaft cracks.

 

(2) Every 3 months, take use of slow turnning device to check the surface situation of the trunnion, the fastening situation of flange bolts, and the surface cracks of bolt holes. 

 

(3) During the running process of ball mill, adjust the parameters according to the actual capacity of the mill, to avoid overload operation and fail-safe operation and improve life service of ball mill trunnion.
