The rotary kiln shell is made of steel plate through rolling and welding, which is the base of the rotary kiln. The small deformation of the rotary kiln shell directly affects the operating rate of the kiln. Therefore, the design of the cylindrical body requires great rigidity in the cross section and good flexibility in the longitudinal direction.
CHAENG used Q245R steel plates for boiler and pressure vessels to made kiln shell segments, which have good mechanical properties, good process performance and good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.
