The slag pot is an indispensable equipment for steelmaking in large iron and steel plants. It is mainly used to hold the waste steel slag produced in the excess production. The production of a good slag pot often requires multiple processes. CHAENG, as a large-scale steel casting plant, mainly provides various types of cast steel slag pots. Both the slag pot demand side and the slag pot processing plant attach great importance to the slag tank casting process. The specific casting details of the slag pot are as follows:
1. Determine the drawing: The customer sends the drawing, and the technical staff communicates with the customer to determine the material, size and process requirements of the slag pot;
2. Process preparation: After the drawings are reviewed and issued to the workshop, the casting staff and technical staff determine the process flow and make relevant preparations;
3. Making the model: Make a reasonable and practical wooden mold according to the requirements to ensure the smooth and straight surface of the wooden mold;
4. Determine the shape: check the model's geometric size, structure and centerline consistency according to the drawings and processes, then select a suitable sand box for sand blasting and demolding, and then use a special resin sand paint for painting. After coating, strictly dry the kiln according to the process requirements, and finally check the sand mold for cracks or damage;
5. Matching raw materials: According to the material and process requirements, the raw materials are proportioned;
6. Casting links: casting, heat preservation, pit pitting, sand removal, heat treatment, sanding, finishing, shot blasting and flaw detection;
7. Finished product release: check the size and weight, do the relevant performance analysis, determine the pass, and pack and ship.
